Amanda got to meet more of Mark's family yesterday

Mark's family had a reunion at a park there in Mississippi yesterday and he wanted Amanda to go with him. She was excited about it but extremely nervous too. I was making faces at her yesterday morning to try to help calm her down LOL!! She was able to take some pictures of his family, the ones he is the closest too. I have uploaded a picture of he and his aunt with this discussion. Mark told me when they got back yesterday that "Amanda really fit in good with my kin folks." LOL!!He came to church with Amanda last night so she was really excited!! She got to introduce him to several people. He told me when they got back home after going to eat that he really enjoyed being there. We have an interim pastor filling in for us until we find a new one and as it turns out he is from Tremont, Mississippi, very close to Fulton where Mark lives. It was very amazing to find out too that he knew Mark's dad very well, had gone to high school and college with him as a matter of fact!! He also knew his mother but not as well as his father. He talked about what a fine man his dad was. I told him we could tell that they had raised Mark right because he is such a gentleman and so respectful.
