what if you encountered this specie? do you have any news that it still exists? as i was watching videos from you tube, this has caught my eye and i got so shocked of how big it size was. it was enormous that it could swallow chunks and chunks of big materials in one bite. i got scared a lil thinking what if i get stranded in the ocean feeling helpless and all knowing no one will ever rescue me and encounter the living megalodon. haha. sad cry scary huh..

I'm enchanted with the Megalodon! In high school I wrote a paper about Megalodon, claiming it was possibly still in existence. The argument was:

The Megaladon is roughly the size of the giant squid. Nobody has SEEN a giant squid, and yet we know that it exists. Giant squid would feed on the same food a Megalodon would (sperm whales), erego Megalodon could absolutely still exist.

I've never touched the subject since, because I'm sure if I looked closely enough I could find a way to talk myself out of this!!

There may never be proof, but for some reason I like to think they are out there!

really? i was even searching for it's story regarding its existence. well maybe it still does exist but it leaves very much deeply in the ocean don't you think. because after the tsunami happening, different weird species existed right and another thing, they live deep down below the ocean. the megalodon was just lucky that creature was not included to be washed up at the shore like what happened with the creatures found.

Mostly warm water, they believe, but at the time of its existence that wouldn't have restricted it to any one area. Over time, though, it could adapt to withstand a colder climate. So I would imagine that if it survived, it would be in the depths of the ocean!

me too. it would scare the hell out of me if it does still do exist at this time. we can't really tell. i hope they did have captured pictures of its existence right.

Hi skbh,

I guess we still have plenty of them! LOL! Imagine how huge the ocean is, so for sure, they still exists!
I will maybe collapsed upon seeing that in real too!
Even little snakes in the ocean wills care me how much more this huge creature..LOL! lol lol lol
