do you use yellow pages?

i am working in a call center that caters to US based business and we sell them online yellow pages listing, we are taught that int he states yellow pages is very impt in their daily lives. i just want to know how true this is..
in our country here in the philippines we dont use yellow pages as a tool for looking for business but use it as paper wrapper, food bag etc..
what about you?

I know that here in the US the yellow pages are important when it comes to looking for a business phone number. Mostly all the information on most business that are in the area are there. If there is not a number for the store your looking for. You can either call information and find out the number. It is useful and very much needed here in the US.

yeah andi find it very interesting..coz here in our country we just need to ask for someone that we knew the details on the business that provides the services that we need. the yellow pages were just keep in a place adn no one will realize the use of it until we need to wrap somthing in paper...

I go to the internet to look business's up I need to find. I don't know the last time I used the yellow pages. It was a very long long time ago. And I wouldn't pay for a telephone book anyway. Or any listing in a yellow telephone book. It is just as easy to look stuff up here on the internet or should I say easier.

good that you still remember you ever used yellow pages hehehe..well i really dont use yellow pages to look for business even once i think...but i did used white pages to look for residential numbers..

Yes, I use them quite a bit. The yellow pages are a big deal here. I don't know why, but they are and always have been.

yeah seems like it..according to our trainer it exists for oever 100 years now..so i bet it is really impt.
