that's a really well put quote. it concisely points out why we do what we do. in fact, motivation is the biggest reasons why anyone does anything at all. ability and attitude merely assist in the process. without motivation, one may not seek the ability to do something. attitude plays a part but only a small one to me. it's amazing what we can do when the motivation is there. i think i should start looking up when i'm waiting for the train too. cheers;p

Lou Holtz is one of my favorites and he is right on with this statement. Not entirely. You can be Einstein, you can be motivated to the level that you cannot sleep because of the excitement, and your way of doing stuff can be perfect but without a proper idea, your yet another someone who wants something out of nothing. Don't get me wrong, you might be helpful to the society but on your own without an established background or people that support you it's impossible to become someone. Yes, the three words are meaningful as many theories out there. If you surf the web, you'll find all kinds of motivational material, but none of these materials will tell you 2 most important things...

this is true! i heard of another quote that attitude determines 90% of results. and i try to remind myself of that when my attitude is lousy. which is quite often if I get frustrated at work haha!

I think sometimes laziness is my main weakness. cos i know i have the ability but lack the motivation to go the extra mile. or perhaps you can say I am easily content. or maybe I'm just a slacker haha.
