How many of you were able to have your dream wedding when you got married? I partially had mine. The parts missing were my carriage ride when we left the church, the photographer did not take enough pictures, and it would have been very beautiful to have whitedoves released (I am not sad about the doves, it just would have been very neat:) We were married at night by candle light, the songs sung were also sung at my parents wedding, and instead of rice we had them blow bubbles. That may seem tacky but the way the colors came out from the light shining on them was beautiful. How about yours?

Nope, not at all. My wedding was absolutely miserable. Everything went wrong and it wasn't even going to be my dream wedding to begin with.

If I had the wedding to PLAN again, I wouldn't really change anything because that was the best we could afford. If it were the wedding itself. I don't know. I guess I'd just not have done it. Post-poned it, waited. I guess it was just a bad time.

I am sorry to hear that. If you were able to do it all over again would you have planned it differently? And what would you do?

At the time I was married, it was my dream wedding. It was in the middle of the afternoon, but we had the lights off in the church and it was lit totally by candlelight....lots and lots of candles. I had lots of music~ 3 singers. We had a limo when we left the church. We also had bubbles. Rice isn't good because the birds will eat it and it isn't good for them. I don't think that bubbles are tacky.
Now if I were to get married all over, it would be totally different~ but with the same man. I would have gotten married on the beach with just immediate family and close friends. Who knows, maybe someday we will renew our vows this way.

I can tell by the way you talk, that you are still very much in love. Both weddings you describe sound wonderful, especially the non-tacky bubles;) Thanks for sharing your memory and your idea of what you would like now.

I had mine. It was great except we divorced 5 years later, but I decided with my 2nd marriage that I just wanted to elope.

I am going on 9 years with my marriage but it was rocky here and there. I hear a lot of people say that after their first wedding, which usually is very big, they would prefer something small, or would like to elope. I don't know what I would choose but of course I haven't had many thoughts towards getting married again. Thanks for sharing and that hamburger you have dispalyed is making me hungry:)

I didnt married yet. But have lots of plan about "How to get marry". I think i can write a book on this. I want to get marry on Everest mountain. In a so chilled places. So that i can really feel warmness of my lifepatner's first kiss. That kiss will define me her love towards me. And i want spend my whole honeymoon there by holding each other in arms. Sow is my plan?

Your plan sounds lovely but I would make sure to dress warm for the cold ;) Also stick to the plans you because it only comes once. Good Luck and thanks for responding.
