I have been using Dove deodorant for about a year. At first it worked great, but lately it seems the the Dove is not working for me very well. Have you ever had a deodorant stop working on you? What kind of deodorant do you wear?

I use to wear an Avon brand for years and it stopped working for me but the last 9 years I've been using a Suave one. The deodorant in a can that you spray. Baby Powder scented and to this day it works just fine.

I used to buy Suave all the time and did not have a problem with it. Maybe I should switch back to the Suave. It is cheaper anyway.

Sometimes cheaper is better...and with pricing the way it is we can use any kind of savings

lilybug- Lots of the products I use stop working after awhile. I know I have to switch to another brand. I've used Ban for years now. I can be so superstitious, I think because I told you Ban works, it will stop working now. I'm crazy, I know. I heard they were coming out with a lemon scented deodorant, but I'm not sure which brand. I haven't seen it in the stores yet. I'd like to try that one.

Head and Shoulders did that to me. I had to switch to Selson Blue because the Head and Shoulders stopped working.

Hi, lilybug. I once used a deodorant that was not an antiperspirant once and I did not smell too god after using it, let's just say this! I was a teenager when this happened. I thought that since it was a deodorant without an antiperspirant, that it would work. Well, it did not. Right now, I am using Suave 24-hour protection in the Sweet Pea and Violet scent. It works well for me. I just prefer to use, Dove for Sensitive skin though, because it makes my underarms feel comfortable. I am very sorry that Dove is not working out for you and I hope that you will find the correct deodorant that does.

i have had that happen a few times.. i used dove for a long time then had problems so i switched to degree and it wasnt too long before it stopped working so i switched back to dove and its been doing ok.. i am thinking about looking around and trying the clinical types they have out there but my body tends to get used to things whether its medicine or whatever and then nothing works.. so i thought it was just me that had this problem
