Multi-Developement Services had a Fundraiser at this Italian Pub.
The Food was great! they had a donation at the door. Everyone recieved a delicious Prepared Meal. I stoppped at the Library and then I stopped at the Urban Leaugue they had this Flyer, I am glad I stopped that meal was delicious, then they had Ragatoini with Meatballs, Italian Sausages, with Salad Ice tea Lemonade. They also had Jello Shots with Vodka. I only had one, that was the first time I ever had that, it was good. They had intertainment, a ful baskets for Auction. I really enjoyed that. The Proceeds was to benefit Multi-Development Service for our town, I think it was for a good cause. Do you ever have or go to Fundraisers,They are fun. Not only that You are helping people in the fun-raiser. I really had a good time. and the Food was excellent.

They do sound fun. A friend of mine runs a cat rescue program, and every now and then I go to the fund raisers they have. They take care o my cat whe I travel to the USA, so I like to bring them back hings as donations to their silent auction, to help hem raise more money.

Marcie, Glad you went to the fund-raiser too, sounds like you really had a great time. I used to go to those when I lived in Pa. have not heard of any down here where I live now.

That's a nice outing you had, and it's great that it benefitted the town as well. In my little hometown, our church and the volunteer fire department are always doing fundraisers. The Fire Dept has 2 clambakes a year, pancake breakfasts through out our Maple Festival month (when trees are producing and they're boiling sap), and many other fundraisers. I used to be a firebelle (ladies auxilliary) when my Dad was chief. I used to go to the events and serve food and stuff. When they'd have their card parties and night at the races I used to make dozens and dozens of doughnuts at home for the events. I think it's great when you can help out so they can add to their coffers for their projects. It makes you feel good to know you're helping, whether it's physical help, or merely going there to an event and supporting them! I consider myself lucky to have grown up in a family that used to volunteer their services to the good of the community.
