Will you buy the products during "AADI Discount"??  | |  In India, Its a common practice, during the month of "AADI" in all the shops their may be the Discount sales will be announced..
In the recent days, all the products has announced the Aadi discounts, previously, only the textile industry, but in the recent days, all the products has come for the AADI Discount Sale, Even Jewels and other products..
Earlier days, the AADI Discount sale concept will be used for the Stock clearance only, ie., the old stock of the year will be cleared by way of discount sales, but now all the shops have book the fresh purchases for this AADI Discounts, you cannot find any old stock there in the shops, those items has been put it in a basket and kept separetly at the cornor of the one of its floor, but very few only watching those places..
This AADI Discount sale will defenatly improve the Sales volume of the total industry..
Infact i saw an advertisement in the paper couple of days back, as the Computer has been offered as "AADI Discount"..!!!
How many of you buy the products under this AADI Discount..??

I our place AADI discount is the way to sell off the old stock available with the shop owners because the next month is the new year (Aavani) for us and will purchase new cloths during that month and the shops will have new stocks during that time. We have a belief that during Aadi month we should not purchase gold or new cloths since it an inauspecious month. Irrespective of all these matters all shops giving aadi discounts including jewelleries and electronic goods. I will not usually purchase things during aadi sales unless it is necessary to purchase.

| | | 3. shana123 (1817) | 2 months ago |  I beleive in the month of aadi no good things will be held all will be postponded to someother month during this period the shopkeepers to avoid loss and to attract people they have all planned to sell the old stocks such as pattu sarees etc etc at a little lower costs so even they donot celebrate any functions they buy and keep those low rate sarees and wear during occassion in Jeyachandran the sale is rs.20 dress lol.. it was nice... but the material will not last longer for even 3 washes...

| chennai_b02 (946) | 2 months ago | I agree with you to some extend, but In most of the cases, the shops has given the brand new materials at the discounted rates.. especially, the Sarees, and Readymade items for guys are very brand new items has been arrived for the Aadi sale, especially in the Saravana (all the stores), the chennai silks etc.. i went there and saw some of the new stocks, and even the old stocks as you said..
When we plan to buy, we have to select the new one at the lowest price.. with good quality..
