Who is your idol in basketball?

My basketball idol is Chauncey Billups. He's so confident and strong, but his style of basketball makes it seem like he's not that good when you see him. I love how even if the person guarding him shuts him down he uses his strength to abuse the defender so they really feel it and regret it physically. I imitated his style of basketball and started strength training so I can use my strength to punish people trying to guard me. It works mentally also because instead of fancy crossovers I just body up and drive the lane. Other people watching the game waiting for they're chance to play me think I'm a scrub because I use my body and footwork to find my spot instead of putting together flashy moves and they underestimate me. I never believed basketball could be played this way until Chauncey won a chip so he became my idol.

I don't know exactly about my idol in basketball but I really liked David Robinson for his character and good sportsmanship. I also liked John Stockton who just wanted to play the game of basketball to the best of his ability without being in commercials or the media. Since he was not in the media spotlight I don't think he was admired as much or got as much respect much but he is the all time assist and steals leader.

Michael Jordan, simply the best player ever. Hehe. In PBA, I don't know. I think for me Johnny Abarientos(is the spelling correct?) will do. The year when Alaska made it grand slam, I was amazed on how they play, and the flying A is really good, plus he's small so we share that height restriction. Right now I'm fond of LeBron James. I'm always using Cleveland when playing NBA Live 08.
