Obama plans to disarm America |
|
Everyone should listen to this video from Obama. It is his voice, his face and cannot be mistaken to be a fraud. http://www.macsmind.com/w... Please listen to exactly what he is saying in this video and make your own decision. Do you want to live in America where the military is being dumbed down (more of the Clinton ways) and where Obama is going to make sure we can't protect our country from the countries who have nuclear weapons? Well, if he becomes President, this is what is going to happen. We are definitely going to be in trouble. This is not just what I think; it is what Obama himself is saying on this video.

There are bad and scare people who lerk in the shadows and the only why to communicate with this people is with force. Teddy Roosevelt once coined these famous words walk softly and carry a big stick. That stick was the military. Teddy know that the only way to deal with some in this world is to overpower them. Sure you can talk to a bully but the bully is still a bully. You must but the bully in their place, with a fist upside their face.

Barb42 (1111) | 1 month ago | I like Roosevelt's approach. If we don't stay strong, then some other country is going to make us wish we had! They are waiting in the wings until Obama becomes president and does a few of the things he's said he will do when he becomes President. Our enemies are saying publically they think Obama is the right man for the job. Why not! HE is playing right into their hands. That is why America should wake up to what is happening here. With a Democratic congress and a Democratic President, we are going to be in for a rough ride. I wish those that thing that Obama is the answer to all their problems would really listen to what this guy is about. The media has been giving us plenty of Obama and hardly any of McCain. And, people aren't supposed to speak about Obama and what he's going to do, how many times he's changed his mind, and how little he really knows about running a country. I think it should be mandatory that every president have some military background in order to be commander-in-chief. Then perhaps they would not be so quick to want to disarm this country. All the people can think of now is 'get us out of the war'. They don't think of what's going to happen on down the line when he is elected.

thelastwolf113 (1484) | 1 month ago | Thanks, this one came up. First of all, his plan to get Russia to disarm is unrealistic. Second, he is lying because he already said he wants to get us out of Iraq because he feels we 'belong' in Afghanistan and Pakistan and was even talking about going into South America. He talks out both sides of his mouth, apparently he can't remember what he's previously said.

Barb42 (1111) | 1 month ago | Smith, you are so right. Clinton did dumb down our military and caused lots of the higher up guys to retire. And it's going to be worse with Obama in the White House. I fear the draft will some day have to be put back in place just to upgrade our military. I know there are many people wanting to serve in the military right now to serve the country. But will they continue to want to serve under a president that is going to make it hard for us to defend our own country?

There are already many non nuclear bombs that have the capability of eradicating bases. E.g. Bunker bombs. I think the major problem with people that hate this that they have no idea how powerful nuclear weapons are these days. It is reported 7 nuclear weapons with the 90s technology going off simultaneously is enough to end the world. US and Russia have anywhere from 100-300. Overall they have 33000 nuclear weapons. A nuclear weapon is no more having "just" 2000 tonnes of TNT that was used in Hiroshima. Modern ones (e.g. Project CB) have the impact of 3 million tones of TNT. Yes 3-million tonnes! And it is just stupid to have weapons like this. What messages are our countries sending to other people? "Hey I not only got weapons to destroy your army but to kill your people as well and stop your land from having anything to grow for the next 500 years?" Come on! You would agree with me too that all of us would rather live in the Bush 41 and Clinton years over Bush 43's years. The other reason people are not frightened by US military spending is simply because Americans are not yet paying for the war with their pockets. They have paid for it with lives. But they do not know of the 2 trillion/ year loan that it takes from China to fund the war in Iraq. Just today, the Afghanistan joint chief of staff mentioned that he has to wait for the next President to shift troops to Afghanistan as there is just no $$. The defense budget has to be cut. Cut out Haliburton/ KBR. Our fathers cleaned their own toilets, made their own bed, etc.. when they went to war; why can't we? Why do we need Blackwater when in the past the MPs in our army did it for much less. A Blackwater employee is paid 10 times more than a normal soldier. Why can't we get the soldier to do that duty... These are the steps we need to take.

Barb42 (1111) | 1 month ago | The problem is, when you disarm America, the other countries with nuclear weapons have the ability to do whatever they want to do. We are left vulnerable. Is that what you would want? When we are armed, it keeps the other countries from trying to destroy us. America isn't going to use their nuclear bombs unless threatened.

PreetSG (133) | 1 month ago | Barb, lets just say, UK, the 3rd largest owner of nuclear material (in actual fact it is Israel but Israel does not disclose it), turns hostile and plans to nuke us, what do you think we should do? Nuke them first and kill their millions? No. Even if we nuke them, would that guarantee that they not have the ability to nuke us? No. Nuclear proliferation is a boon to all and a bane to none. As for defense mechanism, we do no need Reagan's "Starwars" but Roosevelt's Interceptor programs. US have it and is continuously improving on it. America's enemy would not walk all over US if US had nuclear weapons. That is all a bogus fear...

I cant remember what president said it but I believe it was Hoover and it went like this, "Its a good thing men don't pay attention to what we do". Enough said.
