After the anaesthetic....  | |  I recently came round after a general anaesthetic to find myself crying for no reason at all. I wasn't in any pain and didnt even feel miserable - just rather silly! A trainee in the recovery room said she had assumed everyone just regained consciousness feeling a bit sleepy but had seen a number of different reactions from screaming, swearing ... and then me. How has anaesthetic affected you as you've woken up?

Yes, i suppose it took me about 10 minutes to stop. Next time they ask if I've ever had a bad reaction to anaesthetic I'll just tell them to have the tissues handy. | |
