I love all kinds of music; however, I'm a particular fan of blues & jazz (& classic rock). Please tell me about your favorite artists & why you like him/her/them. I have found some of my best music by referrals from friends. Please introduce me to somebody new!!!

Thank you for your welcome aboard....My first:) That being said. THANK YOU for your response. You have completely repaid me for making you laugh. I might even break down & buy you a Pepsi now I am familiar with Dinah Washington & have some of her music. I have heard of Shirley Bassey but never listened to her knowing who she was. You are correct. Her voice is OUTRAGEOUS & she will be next on my list of music to add to my collection. Your response is exactly why I asked the question. I found a diamond in the rough!!! Yes I enjoy Kenny also. I stopped limitin myself to any particular genre a long time ago. I just LOVE music!!!

I would have to say that Diana Krall is my favorite. She plays the piano beautifully and her voice is mesmerising. I find her music to be soothing and perfect when entertaining.

dolly parton - One of Country music's best forever and always
I like just about all types of music jazz to rock and everything in between. Old country artist Dolly I would have to say is my favorite and has been since I was a kid.

Thank you!!! I've been a fan of Dolly's a lot longer than I would like to admit. That woman has a wonderful heart. It shows in the songs she's written. Not bad for a lil ol mountain girl from the hills of Tennessee. Few make it outta there.

I love allot of artist. I am big on rap music so I like artists like:brotha lynch,tech n9ne,ICP,prozac,bonethugs N harmony,dayton family,the list is endless.
