unusual duck tape usages

Did you know that duck tape will remove warts? There are all kinds of uses for duck tape as you all probably know, but I thought that one was really unusual and had never heard of it. Have you heard that prom dresses and tuxedoes have been fashioned from duck tape?! One drunk guy was taped from head to foot by his friends so he wouldn't be able to drive drunk! I guess some EMT's have a way of using duck tape to free windows from wrecked cars to get the occupant out. One guy said that during a flood they used duck tape on the bottom of their doors and they stayed high and dry - no water came in. I have used this magnificent tape for many things. What do you use duck tape for and have you heard of unusual ways of it being used? Oh and by the way is it DUCK tape or DUCT tape? I have seen it spelled both ways.

.we can use duct tape to wrap broken things,blades, knives before disposing them to keep them from tearing trash bags and importantly to protect people and animals.cheers...

That a real good idea! I have an office that I clean once a week and now and then broken things get put in the trash and of course rip the trash bags! Thanks!

it's D-U-C-T tape. and i can verify the wart removal. my girlfriend had a plantars wart on the bottom of her foot and after trying all kinds of expensive wart removers she read about the duct tape cure online. after about a month her wart was gone.

I actually think I got the DUCK spelling from a brand name. Wish I would have known about the wart removal years ago when we had to keep taking my son to the doctor to get warts burnt off! Thanks for the info.
