frugal tips for people with pets: 1) repair dog toys and give them back rather than tossing them out 2) rather than the groomer invest in some clippers and give the dog a bath and haircut yourself - if you goof up its just hair it grows back. I'm getting pretty good at it now myself my dog doesn't look like she had a run in with some animated crazy scissors 3) stop at the local butcher shop in the winter and get scraps dogs and cats love them and they are typically FREE 4)the dollar store has 1.00 dishes for water that attach to regular soda bottles. 5)table scraps to supplement dog food 6) rather than new dog blankets use old blankets from your bedding you no longer use or purchase some from the Salvation army or a thrift store. Does anyone else have tips or suggestions?
