...bad me...LOL!

Hi che. I've tried this most of the time. There was a time that I was waiting for a friend to go online, then I fell asleep. When I woke up, I saw his messages on my messenger and the buzz's that he sent. I later on apologized. And glad that he accepted it. HUGZ!

Hmmmmm Sleep, and deep sleep, u never know whats going On well whenm i give time to someone then i make sure that i meet it as keeping some one waiting, i dont like. So it rare happened and if i dont network connection then text them to meet next time rather than waiting Take care

Well you just fell asleep..Im sure your sister will understand what happened.. She will probably reply later and let you know everything is ok...I know it was disappointing to you but it does happen sometimes.I have had people write me and i was not there too...

oh bad bad bad!!! im sure your sister's fingers are crushing the keyboard when she is buzzing you LOL im sure she will understand and im sure in the next time you will not do it again coz she will give you an earlier time to chat so you guys can compromise and enjoy it. anyway to answer your question, i have not done that yet coz i am very focus on my words - to me it is a commitment and i always have to stand by it no matter what. if i cant or if i will be late then i will say that ahead of time or call them to make sure that they get my message. my sister lives in finland so for us to be able to chat we both have to agree to a time that we are both free, if we cant make it we both says that if i didnt reply for a few lines then i am not there and something come up - which happens before and she understand. if i will chat to some of my friends, i will give them a time that i am sure that i am there coz my husband will not sleep till i am in the bed so i cannot say that i will be up till 1am coz that is impossible for me and i dont want to compromise my time. there is always a way for us to learn and grow LOL kidding aside, i hope your sister understand that you just fell asleep and there is no need to feel guilty about it as you didnt do it on purpose. guilt is not a good thing to have specially if you didnt do anything wrong, accidents do happen and no one is to be blame. im sure the next time you chat you will get a few teasing from your sister haha! cheer up bad girl LOL takecare

Things like this usually happen. So I have decided not to give time to any of my cousins abroad to come online at late hours so that we could chat. Instead we set a time when both are free and make sure that the times are not so extreme at both the places. That way the chances of missing out are very few and we usually have a good chat when it's like that. It's bad that you over slept, but it couldn't be so bad. I think she will get back and you could chat later. bourne

o.0 yeah it happened to me but so far when i say sorry everything's okay. back to normal. thus the difference is my sister, my family nor my bf don't get mad whenever things like that happens.

Yeah, that happens to the est of us. I have a cellphone. I try no to use my cellphone too often because I have o pay for it but if I miss an appointed call or computer time, people who are waitig know they can call my cellphone and ask me where the heck I am. Last night I almost missed a call from my best fried because my house phone was acidently unplugged. When I figured it out it was 15 minutes after the appointed time. I plugged it in and he called me 5 minutes later. I asked him i he'd been rying for a while and he said "no, I just got to the phone." It was a good thing he was late!!! Oh well, he would have tried my other phoe, and I oculd have realized the efor soon enough.

My sister has done that to me too when we have set up a time and day to meet online. It never bothered me though because she's terrible when it comes to emails, chatting online and sorts. It's got to be the phone with her :)

I think you 1 pm is quite a very late time for you... since you should be sleeping at that time... and i am sure your sister will understand why you were not able to chat with her... this is one problem with the time difference when a loved one is living at the other side of the globe... that happened to me a lot when i was working abroad... and my husband was in the Philippines...

Shes' your sis, so she will get over it. Its not easy to wake up in the night and chat with loved ones, as I am sure she will realise sooner or later. Tell her to call you up at 1pm her time, maybe then she will realise that its not easy and forgive you. People tend to want to chat when it is daylight their time, so its no big deal, you fell asleep. Happens to us all the time. Smile and she will revert back.

Hi, I guess it happens. Lol. I feel bad in a couple of instances. xD I've had several experiences as well and I just make it up to those people. Just an apology. xD

Hi Checapricorn, I am sure she will understand and you have apologised which is the main thing eh! I have said I would call someone that evening and fallen asleep putting my son to bed so haven't but just texted to explain why and they have understood. It doesn't happen often but on oncassion. Im sure that she wont have minded Che,its not your fault if you were tired!..I have regularly tried to get my sister to use messenger,as she is abroad,and we speak very rarely because the cost of the calls are ..OMG so huge...but I said to her Oh we could have a natter on messenger now and again and cathc up..she insists she doesnt do messenger,in fact lol she insisits she doesnt do computers full stop!but she is a better typist than me by far..I know that doesnt take much!!and she is much quicker than me,she just really doesnt want to be bothered!!So if I have any news I HAVE to text her with it,and the blooming texts are expensive too!!!

LOL i've done that too a few times to my friend :p that's why i'm laughing while i read ur story LOL i usually forgot that i'm in the middle of a conversation with my friend when suddenly something comes up and needs to be done first, so i just left my computer and sometimes i even suddenly turn off my computer because i've to go, but i forgot to tell my friend that i've to go and i just realize it when my computer has completely turned off LOL so then i just text them :D

I have had that happen to me also. I work nights online on my computer and alot of my family use the computer during the day. We try to stay in touch with one another sometimes and we have to schedule for that to happen also since we are online at different times of the day. I have often slept through a date online also. I have felt really bad for it too but they understood that I was so tired and didn't do it to them on purpose.

Hello checapricorn, I always waiting for my husband to be online when we stayed apart for almost 10 months last year. My husband always came online at night. It is 3 hours different. We always talked until midnight my time. One day, I promised to wait for him and I fell asleep. I felt so guilty and I kept blaming myself for not waiting for him. I said sorry to him and he said it's alright as he himself always make me wait and didn't come online! *laughs*
