I lost a $dollar$ again! |
|
I am working here as a cashier. everyday, a lot people came to our office to ask for our services. And as the office cashier, I collect the payment. Today i counted and recounted my collections from yesterday. I was a bit shock to find out that I lost a dollar (50 pesos). If you collect money like I do as cashier, have you experience something like this? Do you experience losing money from your pocket? KEEP SMILING=> NEIL

2. fluffnflowers (1356) | 3 months ago | I worked as a cashier, once, and we were two people to a register. I ended up getting assigned to a register with one person who had sticky fingers. The first week, it was a dollar, the next $3-4, the next $5-10, and so on. They made it look like I, the new girl, was doing the stealing. It was very frustrating! I think everyone who's a cashier ends up with short days or days where you've 'made' too much. I never did figure out where the difference went -- maybe off onto the floor, maybe a bad calculation, I don't know. I'm glad you weren't short too much.

3. Hatley (12509) | 3 months ago | neildc hi I have never worked as a cashier but once I got some money in my favorite grocery store and asked the clerk to break a ten into ones and a twenty into two tens, well she said watch these new bills as they tend to stick together. well I took a cab home as I had too many groceries to go on the bus. The fare was six dollars so Itook out a five and what I thought was a one, and paid the cabbie and he never batted an eye. the next morning I checked my change as I was going out later and I was missing ten dollars, then i realized a ten had stuckto the one dollar bill so i had paid not six dollars but sixteen, I called the cab company but she refused to do anything as she said I should have called that morning and i tried to tell her i did not miss the ten until just a few minutes ago but she adamnat. so I was out ten dollars. sevral weeks later Iused the same cab co and when I went to pay the cabbie he said no take care mama then I realized he was the same driver so his conscience must have bothered him.

8. CopyPaper (197) | 3 months ago | That's too bad. I was once a cashier before(I am not an accountant by the way). And I lost more than a dollar. $5 I think? (it was more than 200 pesos).. It was going to be a change to some of my customer. But, I forgot to lock my drawer and when I checked in the morning, there's nothing left. There are really some people who are born thief.
