Common Errors To The Newbie Of myLot

I guess it's really normal for a newbie. I have had that happen too on my first week. I've posted a topic on a wrong interest. And one thing that I've done is I posted an affiliate link on a discussion that I responded too. Too glad that someone told me that I can do that. And since then, I always look at the mylot guidelines before I respond and before I post a discussion.

I think I just made that mistake.Obviously I'm a newbie and I posted a discussion on shopper but I don't think I've listed shopper under my interest yet. Is that a mistake?

It happens a lot,i made a mistake as well in posting a discussion mearnt for religion on the topic,Making money,it was so embarassing.

As far as I remember, most of te discussions that I post when I was a newbie was in the right interest. But sometimes, I also post a discussion with the wrong interest although it happens very seldom. But I am not raising my own chair here. I am not telling that I'm good at posting the right discussion into the right interest. It's just happen that most of my post are all about mylot.com and making extra money. Happy posting everyone

I also made a mistake before when I am still new here. I started a discussion about a certain place, a city. But I posted it in the wrong interest. That's why it didn't get much responses. But know, I am more careful and choosy with the interests my discussions will be posted. KEEP SMILING=> NEIL

July, I would commit errors, when I was a newbie here. I did not how to expand my response or how to write to the point. Since I joined here, watching and reading others, I have learnt a lot. Now I feel confident to respond on any topic of my interest. I would put my discussions under the relevant category of interest since beginning. I did not face any problem on this account.

oh yea! my first 50 discussions were full of them. and it's kind of funny finding those errors been made by the guys joining in after you. but it's a good thing you pointed this out..thanks

I joined myLot a long time ago, and at that time the rules were not so many, so it was easier not to break them. As new rules appeared, it was easy to acknowledge them so I don't think I've made so many errors.

I haven't really paid that much attention. I do think it is funny that some innocent words are considered inappropriate. One time I was discussing some thing our Vice President Cheney had said and I was not allowed to use the nickname for Richard.LOL!
