Don't we all dream of finding someone that can give us everything. Sometimes I think we get more tied up on looks than a person that could really do something for us in life, to make it easy for us not to have to struggle. | 5. sirrob (454) | 1 month ago |  anyhoo, if you don't like the person's personality doesn't mean you didn't feel anything for that person. if you felt something then why not give it a try, but if giving it a try just because of the material things you wanted to have so your dreams may come true then i would say, it's not worth the time spending. (or wasting the time probably is the best) and i believe there's no love involve in this situation but only for tangible things. yet, there are circumstances that would arise in a certain time that would force you to cling on it because of a need, but that's another story.

I was in this situation already and this guy would just buy me stuff and get people to bring it for me at my workplace and I would have to call him up and tell him to take it back, I don't want it and he would refuse to take it back and I would proceed to tell him that I would give it away or trash it and he would say, it's yours...do as you like.
I did not like him in a boyfriend/girlfriend type way but we were friends before all this started. I mean most girls would be delighted. All my co-workers were jealous of me and i was simply thinking "gosh how do i get rid of this guy?!"
It finally came to a point where I couldn't take it anymore and I got my dad to intervene. It did not stop him right away, the guy actually went out and bought a car for me! Thinking it may impress me and my dad but it did not.
He may be rich but i wouldn't have been happy with him. It was all about money, not the thing that really matters, love...
I agree we all need money to survive, but I have been in situations where I had everything I felt I needed and wanted at the time (I'm not talking rich but just being a bit more fortunate than others) yet I was not happy because all the people I loved and who I know loves me, were very far away.
I am lucky to have now found someone who I know is "the one!" He makes me so happy and he may not be rich but he isn't very poor either, but he knows what matters, I do want to have a comfortable life in the future and I am confident that I can build that for myself as long as I have the love to keep me happy.
