Crossing Jordon fans

I know I'm a year or so late with this. I watch Crossing Jordon reruns quite a bit, but I still missed the one where Jordons dad left the show, and why. Does anyone know what became of the dad? I remember he had a bar and stuff, they had a long storyline about her deceased mother, but what happened to the dads character?

He gave Jordan the bar and retired to Fl.-honest! After he went out of it i quit watching it. They kicked him off because he was paid a high salary then replaced him with half a dozen people but the show wasn't as good after that.

Thanks. I still liked the show even though he wasn't in it anymore. Just couldn't remember what happened to him.

I miss this show so much. I believe Jordan received the bar because her father retired. I'm not entirely sure where his character went after that. And I've heard that the reason the actor left was because he wanted more money or something. Plus he wasn't given the proper amount of screen time, so I've heard. I am not 100% on these allegations.

Hi, cj, up above explained he retired to florida, and there was a money situation. Even so I always like the show even without him in it. I use to like the music at the opening of the show in the older ones. I like bagpipe music.

I enjoyed watching Ken Howard, who played Max on the show. He was great with Jill Hennessy and I do miss the show. I didn't like the newer episodes without him.

Hi, I liked him in the show, I liked the the way he and Jordon use to work out the crimes and solve them. Although I missed his character I still liked the show as much as ever without him.

I believe he moved or went on an extended vacation to get away from all the bad memories. Remember his long lost son showed up and Jordan, dad, and son all got into it. There was a search on for the dad because he supposedly committed some crime and it all got convuluted and round about. It boiled down to he went on a long vacation or moved somewhere else and left Jordan the bar.
