Is it a shower or bath for you? |
I personally prefer to shower as it is quicker. I do have a bath on the odd occassion but very rarely. I get in there and after about 5 minutes I think now what? I don't like the thought of laying around in my own dirt!! LOL I give my kids a shower during the week and they have a bath always on a Sunday night before school the next day. I always say that it cleans out all their little nooks and crannys and removes the dirt from their fingernails but I always shower them down afterwards and wash their hair. So what do you prefer, a shower or bath?

2. sk66rc (1387) | 3 months ago | I'm a lot like you in a way that I rarely take bath... I prefer taking showers because it's more convinient... My daughter takes bath every night... My girl friend is little bit of both, she takes bubble bath 3 - 4 times a month...

3. jonesy123 (1839) | 3 months ago | I take showers and hardly ever have time for a bath. Kids will do that to you, lol. I like a bath because it's so relaxing. If I do get the chance, I take a good book with me and read it. I like that a bath really soaks and softens the skin. The nook and cranny thing is not that far off. When I scrub myself thoroughly at the end, I feel more dirt came off than just in a shower. I actually feel cleaner. But yes, you have to shower off to finish or you take some dirt back out with you;)

alokn99 (1700) | 3 months ago | One Hour, once when I was mucky and tired and just went about lazily having a bath. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

6. aslanlight (909) | 3 months ago | Looking like a wrinkled raisin never particularly appealed to me and lying in all that dirt's not an idea I relish. I prefer a shower, it's cleaner, quicker, saves water and is refreshing, whereas a hot bath can make you feel drowsy. Also since I was a child I've disliked getting out of baths. Oh and when they're pretty hot they make my bum go red.

aslanlight (909) | 3 months ago | It must be time for bed; I read your post but the lying in the dirt bit didn't sink in so I thought I was being original! lol Goodnight.

7. p1kef1sh (3076) | 3 months ago | Last Christmas we installed a heart stoppingly expensive shower where our bath used to be. I don't miss the bath at all. I walk in. Shower and walk out. Occasionally if I am in an hotel I will have a quick soak before bed. But showers are definitely the way to go. I did once spend 5 minutes in a toilet on a camp site in France looking for the shower head! They look curiously similar to each other over there.

9. bryanna4 (45) | 3 months ago | Shower all the way. Bath tubs are nasty. Even if you clean them I still feel like I am bathing in durty water. It does not make sense to me. It also is not recommended for women to take baths.
| |
| |
| bryanna4 (45) | 3 months ago | Because unlike men, women are exposed down there and any bacteria in that water has easy access. Thats why doctors recommend even smaller girls not to take bubble baths because of the risk of infection.
| |
Humbug25 (1590) | 3 months ago | So I guess that goes for swimming in the sea then too?
| |
| bryanna4 (45) | 3 months ago | no, the difference is when you are bathing in the tub, you are sitting in dirty soapy water which is not good for women. The ocean my be salty ( which is actually good for your skin) but it is also natural and is not standing water which harbors bacteria.
