julyteen - hi. I love riding horses, but they don't love me. Twice, two different horses tried to throw me, one down a cliff, the other over a fence.
One time, a horse stepped on my foot. It took forever for my foot to heal.
Several horses head butt me, swinging their giant heads smashing into my face.
I still ride whenever I get the chance.
travel lightly,

I rode horses when I was a kid. I was interested in learning how to ride cause I wanted to ride like those in the Olympic equestrian team. But when I was 14 I broke my leg and was in a cast for a very long time. My parents would no longer let me ride.

It has been sometime since I have ridden a horse but yes I could ride when I was a girl, but can't these days. It takes some practice to learn to get the rytheum of the horses gate. I used to ride around the hills at my dad's place in Nebraska. It was fun to get to places that were not accessible by car or truck. Used to see some beautiful country.

I've ridden a few times and have been told I'm a natural at it. It is kinda scary at first if you're afraid of falling off. People have been riding horses for thousands of years. It can't be that hard.
