Do you prefer a wood, charcol, or propane fire, for bar-b-qing? I enjoy the natural smell of wood and the smokey flavor. I think charcol is too messy, and propane is just a little too dangerous for "my taste". What do you use? commanderxo

My first choice is cooking over a wood campfire, then in a charcoal grill and last, but usually the option we choose because of time constraints is the propane grill. I love to do dutch oven cooking on the campfire!

I've never tried a Dutch oven on a campfire....sounds interesting. What's that like? Does it take long for food to cook, or is it as I suspect, much faster? cdrxo
