I've noticed more and more how product packaging and labels are written in different languages, usually English, Spanish and French.
Is that the majority of languages spoken here? What about Italian or another language, I know a heck of alot more people of Italian heritage than French, what determines the language printed on the packaging, do the manufactures really care if people cannot read the label in one language, or is to gain more sales?
They should (if they do not already) check out demographics and try to accomodate frequently sponken languagues for the market they are trying to target.
How does everyone else feel?

It probably saves money when creating a label that they don't have to create a different new one for every European market they're aiming for, just label it in a bunch of languages and hope buyers can figure it out..Labels are limited by size,so they're not trying to Diss You if Your own Language doesn't feature..If You Speak Italian, you could maybe figure out a label in Spanish..Me,I try and polish my language skills with labels..I speak English and German,Have some French,a Little Spanish, and try working out the Dutch label instructions(From the German),or to decode the Greek one! A Biscuit I like,Made in Glasgow,Scotland,Is labelled in Arabic, which tickles Me!

Hi ShepherdSpy!
It doesn't offend me as I cannot even speak Italian LOL. I just find it interesting which languages are printed on labels.
I just wonder who chooses the languages, it great you have a vast array of language skills, I am not as fortunate , But I try :)
Some things just "pop" into my mind and make me wonder.. you know what I mean?
