should copy and paste be allowed from the first post...?

i think copy and paste should be allowed from the first post bcoz i have a good contribution of technical information in my pc..and that is too long to write, and i am waiting for my posts tobe 500, so that i can post the information..
if i will be allowed then , i think it will help others a lot.
so what do u think if mylot should allow copy and pastefrom the first post..

I had a hard time with the 500 post thing as well, as there were quite a few things that I wanted to share, but really didn't want to re-type entire documents. I think it's a good rule though, it keeps people from just joining and copy/paste to spam to earn money.

I think they do that to benefit those who do stick around for the 500 posts. That way there is at least some advantage for being active or some sort of seniority benefit I guess you could say. I was irritated when I couldn't do it when I first started and now that I can I hardly ever use it anymore. How ironic is that?

I guess so. I personally haven't used the copy and paste function on here that much. And I don't see the harm in letting early users have this privilege. If Mylot is concerned with spam, then maybe they should just lower the 100 post rule to about 50. And that way ever win kind of wins.
