If You Liked The Da Vinci Code, What Other Books Did You Like?

I just loved the book. Facts and fiction are beautifully complied and presented in a such a manner that we are made to feel that it's a truth! There in lies the beauty of the book.

I just finished reading THE DILBERT FUTURE by Scott Adams.He has done a brilliant job in mixing farce and wit and through humor has successfully penned down most scary future of man kind. Its a fun read.

I would like to read Nineteen Minutes. Thanks.

If you enjoyed The Da Vinci Code, you will really like Angels and Demons. It is also by Dan Brown, has a fascinating storyline and, in my opinion, is even better than The Da Vinci Code. It features Robert Langdon on another exciting trail.

I also listened to Da Vinci Code. Now, I knew it was fiction, and I am far and away more upset that all these people seem to take it as truth, then the actual story bothered me.

there is a book by an italian writer but that is known worldwide due to a movie from it where Sean Connery starred, that you might try...granted that i did not read Da Vinci Code, still i think this one might interest you... it is called The name of the Rose, by Umberto Eco...it is a mystery novel set in the middle ages and with a detective-monk as protagonist...you might watch the movie first but that would ruin the surprise:p

If you really like non-fiction, why don't you look for Holy Blood, Holy Grail. That is where The Da Vinci Code was based. You will also realize that Dan Brown didn't really need a lot of effort to write his book. Holy Blood is more interesting reading. Just be careful, its full of forced hypotheses. It would be better if you also read commentaries on this book, the serious scholarly ones, to gain a more rounded perspective.

If you read DVC, I also recommend you to read "Angels & Demons" also by Dan Brown. For me it is better than the DVC. It's an excellent novel on Science & Religion. You must read it. If you want I can give you the E-Book. However, the format is not that nice. I have the E-Books of his other Books, Deception Point and Digital Fortress, still to be read.
I normally like fictions. The most important thing what I would think we should get from a book is the "Moral of Story". That's why I like Harry Potter also even though it is a complete imagination.

Have you read the prequel to The Da Vinci Code -- Angels & Demons? It's a great read. Better I think than The Da Vinci Code even.
Like you I don't read a lot of fiction either. Well aside from the Avalon series from Marion Zimmer Bradley and the Harry Potter series:)

I enjoyed Dan Brown's ANGELS & DEMONS. Of course, it featured Robert Langdon also. I wish they'd make that into a movie. It's a great novel. If you haven't read that I highly recommend it.
