Probably Dire Straits most overplayed/overated track - but it's still fun.
I've got an old tape copy of the samed named compilation and the lyrics include the extra verse complete with added homophobia. The version on the tape doesn't have that verse though - it's just the usual version, did they ever relase that anywhere?

If you buy the Brother In Arms Remastered CD, it has an extended version of Money For Nothing with that verse plus some more of Sting's backing vocals.

I have the uncensored version, if you can call it that. It was on a greatest hits CD they had. I don't know why they took that line out, it's such a funny line and so true of the 80's hair metal days. I guess they didn't want to only market the single to adults so they made a kid friendly version. Either way its still a great song.
