Salads are great as long as they're not coated in sugary or fatty dressings--try to avoid those with corn syrup in them too. Mix it up a bit so you don't get bored...different veggies etc. The more vegetables you eat the better...it doesn't have to just be salads. You can do simple veggie stir fry with soy sauce and garlic, veggie soups and stews, veggie wraps...the possibilities are endless.

Hey sweet,
Yes eating salads will do you a lot of good. Not only these will help u to reduce weight but it will frshen up your skin and do a lot of other good things on your body.
I eat a lot of things raw too. I believe that eating raw has so many benefits and when we cook them we actually lose a lot of good ingredients in the vegetables and fruits.
Cheers,
Tutul

Why torture yourself like that? If you go on a low carb, high protein diet you can lose weight without starving yourself. You can still do salads but ditch the tomatoe and carrots and add some meat or hard boiled eggs. Try to get your daily carb intake down to around 25g per day or less and you will see weight loss...I usually do after only a few days. Eat lots of lean meat, broccoli is low in carbs and so is spinach. Stay away from sugar, bread, rice, pasta and potatoes. Chicken and fish it also good. Some yogurts are low in carbs and so is cottage cheese. Add a little bit of exercise to your diet plan and you'll do even better.
