We are going to the drive In this weekend! It is only five bucks a car load. cheap entertainment. There are not that many drive in around anymore.I remember when I was a teen and we use to go and play kissy face instead of watching the movie. lol None of that now. When is the last time you have been to one? Do you have one where you live.

Do you remember the old fashion rootbeer stands. We have one of those to where you can go eat and they bring it to the car. It has the best rootbeer.

We use to have them here when I was a teen they called them the Dublin Dirties..lol. But those days have long past and there is one cinema here and it has seven screens. If you go before 2pm in the evening it costs 3.50 a person after 2pm it is 6.50 per person. On Wednesdays during the summer at 3pm you can bring 2 can goods and watch the movie they choose. Lots of daycares show up on that day though. It will be a G rated movie. Memories of the good ole'days just sitting in the car on a midsummer night with the window half rolled down and the speaker hanging there sqeaking at times. lol

The last time for me was in the 70's. The place closed after being there for many many years. There aren't anymore around here. They were a good deal. Put the kids in PJ's, pack the car with snacks and we were ready for the night.

We went to one a couple weeks ago to see Wall-e. It was actually a double feature, and we saw Get Smart as well. This weekend they're showing a triple feature, unfortunatly none of them are suitable for little kids, so we will not be going.
