We got shakes from Krystal the other day...they were advertising a key lime pie one and it was yummy. The kids got chocolate and didn't finish them and had put them in the sink. To my surprise in the morning, the shakes didn't even melt, just kind of hardened a little - do they even have ice cream in them or just lard? It certainly makes me not want to go back! I think I better make my own ice cream!

That's kinda weird. I wonder what they do put in their shake. It must be some kind of a thickening agent that doesnt melt easily. I doubt that it's lard. Maybe you could ask he manager what it is that they put in their shakes. It is sort of strange when you would expect them to melt and they dont. I would wonder too.

It was weird, I have no idea what is in there but it didn't smell like sour dairy either. To think I drank a whole one - yikes! I don't think I'll be going back. They did call them milkquakes so I would assume there is milk in them. Anyone work at Krystal that can tell me?

Yikes! That does not sound appetizing at all!
My favorite shakes are Rita's Misto shakes! They're a blend of frozen custard and italian ice! They are so good! I would highly recommend them!

I have never heard of that but sounds yummy! I will see if I can find them. :)
