How would you protest?

If that were here in the Philippines, University of the Philippines (UP) would only call it a copycat. I think every year UP is doing their oblation run. They run like hell on the streets naked and it will be a very favorite spot for gays. I really don't know why they go naked those times. It's like "when you came to the university you were nothing"...something like that. And they have this naked statue too infront of the university.

What does being clothless have to do with dependence on foreign oil? It sounds to me more like a bunch of people wanting to have sun burns on parts of their bodies that are not made to have the sun shine on them. So, No I would not protest in this way. The best way of protesting is to do something where you will not have to use the gas like walking or riding a bike. If you do not use it then the demand will drop, the proces will drop, and the air will be cleaner.

I would say that such a ride would garner much attention. It is a clever way to draw attention to the Oil Crisis. I have to choose between buying clothes and filling my gas tank is a great theme. But I wouldn't want to be there for it. There are some bikers that do not need to be seen in that light eww lol!

I just mentioned this a few posts ago. Odd. Well, I wouldn't shed clothing as a protest. I think the people that do that just want to get naked in public and it doesn't have a lot to do with the cause. Maybe I'm wrong. I should go to a few of these and see. :)
