The car is probably one of the most loved vehicle worldwide from its invention in the 30s to present. I happen to drove one from 1998 to 2005 and I was very much satisfied with its performance and durability. Have you ever drove and owned a beetle?

I owned a vw bug in 1977. It was orange with black double stripe along the bottom. I owned it with my cousin! We were in school together, live across the road from each other, and worked at the same restaurant. We chipped in a hundred bux each and bought it. We had no money until payday and it needed a battery. I remember push starting it every morning for school at 6:30am until payday Good times.

Hahaha...that's funny. Anyway you don't need a long, hard push to start a beetle.

Not really. But I am always attracted when seeing one. I like its size and style. And the amount as well. Very cool and classic. It is good for those who are just starting to learn how to drive.

You're right because the beetle have a very light structure (but durable) and easily manipulated.

I have never really liked this car, I don't even know why, when i first started driving i only wanted a small car and at that time I had a choice of a VW or a mini, I chose the Mini, I had that little car for 14years, I loved it.

You have your own taste and entitled to that. As far as I'm concern, the beetle has been my reliable companion for some time.

My beetle Macho - The legendary Macho a Volkswagen Beetle.
She's ALIVE again. I am elated to see that avatar in my interest bar! I's actually our first car back in 83, the last of the series made here in our country 1980 model 1600 twin carb. We named ours 'macho' so its a guy car, he really has an attitude. He would act up most of the time but he sure brings us to where we like to go, on or off the road. I remember one time in our office the whole staff 9 of us fit in there and when we finally arrived in our destination the jeepney passengers behind us was so amazed how did we all fit in there. I stop using it in 95 but in 03 we decided to rebuild it again, a total body repair, have it a new color, recondition the engine and installed an aircon and that's how he looks now. Unfortunately due to the high price of gasoline these days, he being a really gas guzzler, I think he would again sleep for a while until such time.
