I hate the heat....

If I could gather up my immediate family and extended family and move farther north I would. This heat is killing me!!!
I'm in southeast Georgia, and during the day you can't do anything. Everytime I step outside I feel like my very soul is being sucked out by the heat.
I take out the trash, I have to come in and sit down. Go out to tend to the dogs, again, have to come in and recuperate. At this time of the year you can't have a picnic, family get together outside or anything without feeling like the pure life is draining out of you.
Get dressed, put on a little make-up, by the time you get to where you're going your clothes are soaked and your make-up is dripping off your chin. Forget about fixing your hair and spraying it into place, the humidity takes care of that, you end up looking like your waring a dead animal on your head, all wilted and flat.
And to think it won't get any better, I don't care what they say...it's getting worse every year.

I know it is hot, and I think last year was cooler. They keep telling me this summer is cooler than expected, but whatever...105 degrees and 90% humidity is enough to keel me over. If I want to get much done, I get up at 5am to do it. And not everything is open that early if you have to run errands. It is miserable, and I just thank God I have an air conditioner.

That humidity is a real pain, I agree. I don't know how anyone can stand to live in a place like that. I like the desert, it gets very hot but the humidity level is normally around ten percent, at least you can breathe without sucking in water
