flies

My garage is being taken over by flies! Absolutely teeming and swarming. They mob me when I go out to my car or come home and get out of the car. They even seem to follow us in to the house sometimes. Is there some sort of fly bomb I can use to kill them? Where did they all come from? We tried fly paper to no avail. Help! My stepson says one of his friends is having the same problem.

I know they have this bags that you can buy at our feed stores and tractor supply places. I am sure Walmart has them too! They hold to 1000 flies. They have some kind of food/water in them and they fly in there and can't get out. They work really well. You should check them out. We had to use them last year outside because they were so bad.

flies are really trouble and "disaster",they are so annoying. may be u can use pesticide or something like that to kill them. take care.

I would clean out the floor with clorox after I sprayed insect killer. I would then HANG UP FLY STRIPS ALL OVER THE PLACE. I WOULD MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CLEAN, NO TRASH ANYWHERE. You can use a bug bomb if you turn off all gas pilots. I would try to see if there is something nearby or arround you that may be drawing them to you.

They used to have something called "no pest strip" that I used to hang in the stall of the horse I rode in the summer. I think "Gulf" used to make it, looks like Hot Shot is doing it now. Hey, the horse I rode was much less bothered in her stall then other horses - so maybe this is the same thing and will help you.
