Worn out Socks- Do you still wear them?

I do. Especially when I was in school and my parents has no money to buy new ones. Most of them were worn out on the ankle part like yours. And some of them have holes for the toes already. But now, I try to have some decent socks. I still have one which is thorn somewhere above the ankle part but I still wear it because it doesn't look bad. Have a nice day!

well i am very choosy when it comes to clothes and also very finniky, i want my clothes to be clean and in their best form. so i usually throw out my worn out socks as soon as they are torn even little bit.

oh yes my dear friend, i also have one pair of socks that i am still using. i really wanna get a new pair but just like i mentioned one of my discussions, things like undies or other personal things are mostly neglected these days due to high rising prices of every goods we need. prioritizing the needs of our housemates, the kids usually ignores our own personal needs. I am guilty of doing such thing as well but whenever I am wearing a pair of old air-conditioned socks I keep it in my mind and I will never remove my shoes whatever I do. I don't want other people to see me like that. LOL

I will war them as long as possible!

i wear my socks until they aren't comfortable any more. No point in wearing socks that annoy you.

well ,i try to minimise my expenses,so if the hole is in th part which cannot be seen,for eg sole,i try to salvage it.otherwise i have no option but to throw it away.

I have had this happen to me many times before. I am at work, or even just hanging around at home and I take my feet out of my shoes and poof a hole appears that I swear I never saw when I put the socks on. My feet go right back in my shoes when this happens as well. If any of my socks have holes (which quite a few do because my dog likes to steal them) they most certainly just get tossed in the garbage. I can't stand if I'm wearing a sock and there is a hole by the toe to the point where one my toes goes outside of the sock, the feeling I get drives me crazy. I have gone through so many socks and I can't tell you how many unmatching pairs I have because I throw one away and not the other. I should just through the pair away if it doesn't have a brother or sister set in my wardrobe.
