What Was Your Favorite TV Show When You Were A Kid? |
|
I hate to say this, but I was a TV addict when I was a kid. Of course, we didn't have over four hundred channels, but we had enough so that I could watch some of my favorite shows. The best thing was Saturday mornings. I would be the first one up and I had the TV all to myself. In fact, it was so early in the morning that some of the channels weren't even broadcasting yet and maybe only one or two had shows. There used to be a show called "Davey and Goliath". This was a animated claymation I think. There was always a moral to every story. Maybe that's why I loved watching it. When I got older, there were some shows I loved to watch at night. "Love Boat" was one of my favorites, but I had gone on a cruise and it reminded me of all the good times we had. Did you have a favorite show when you were a kid too?

1. Tim8806 (576) | 1 year ago | I had tons of favorites as a kid, they just don't make them like they used to. I watched Rugrats and Doug religiously lol. Then there were the shows like "Are you afraid of the dark" Secret world of Alex Mack, and All that. TV in the 90's was the best, it's sad to see what it has become now.

| acutedisaster (96) | 1 year ago | Yeah, all those shows were amazing. I LOVED the retro All That. Kenan & Kel was funny too. Do you remember Pete & Pete and KABLAM!?
I hate the stuff on our cartoon network stations now. I really wish Nickelodeon would make a retro Nick, with ALL the shows in the 90's. There is this channel called The N that shows some shows, but not any old cartoons.
::sigh::

2. SomeCowgirl (8073) | 1 year ago | When I was younger I used to like to watch The Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Clarissa Explains It All, Doug and the various game shows on Nickelodeon. I loved watching older shows as well, but I think as far as cartoons go those as well as Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. They were all very fun to watch as well as sometimes educational.
Have a wonderful day.

wachit14 (3236) | 1 year ago | I loved the Flintstones. This was probably the first "adult" cartoon ever produced for television. It was shown at night originally and was really meant more for grown-ups than for kids. I also was a big fan of the Jetsons as well.

9. lazeebee (4520) | 1 year ago | My mum was rather strict with the TV hours, so we were allowed to watch only 1 hour per evening on schooldays; however on weekends, we were allowed to watch any programs provided we had completed our schoolwork.
My favourites were Scooby Doo, and Donald Duck (yup, even now, it's still Donald Duck). Don't know why, I just love that grumpy duck! And during Saturday evenings, there was Twilight Zone, and Hawaii 5-O. I can't remember the rest of them!
