This commercial has to do with abused animals and it's this country singer that is talking and her song plays in the background. The commercial is so long and so sad. When I first saw it, I felt so bad and tears came to my eyes. But now, I can't watch it anymore. My 12 year old can't watch it either because it makes him sad.
Did you see it?

Yes cher913, I am talking about the one with Sarah Mclaughlin. I just learned from another mylotter that she is not a country singer so sorry for the mix up. Those dogs and kittens/cats just look so sad. Thank you for responding and God Bless!

Yes I have seen it many times. I do have to say this Sarah McLoughlin (excuse my spelling as it may be wrong) is not a country singer. Here is a link to the words - its really a great song. http://www.songlyrics.com/song-lyrics/Sara_McLaughlin/City_of_Angels/In_the_Arms_of_the_Angel/240569.html
Back to the question - I always turn the channel when it comes on. It really is a horriable site to see. VERY sad!

I have seen that commercial. I thought the song in the background was Sarah McLaughlin (sp?) who I don't think does country music. Either way the commercial is sad, just like that darn Purina commercial where they say something about your family going away on vacation and not coming back to get you.

I have seen the commercial you are referring to, it is sad. I think it's the looks on the cats and dogs faces that get to you. Of course that's what they want it to do, so you will donate money to another cause. I don't mind donating money to a cause, if I know that it will be used to help someone or something local.

I have seen that commercial. Everytime I watch that commercial I begin to cry and then I'm like aw I want to go adopt one. And I actually did go adopt a kitten. But I can understand what you mean by when you eventually get tired of watching that commercial. I get to that point.
