Hello cher913. I love the 2008 Olympics in Beijing! And I get a real kick out of watching the swimming, diving, cycling, and running (if they have it). I will watch any of the sports though. We watched a basketball game and I've seen quite a bit of beach volleyball and water hockey (I think that's what it's called). I get so inspired when I watch the Olympics. It's just so amazing that so many people could work so hard to get so far in performing a particular sport. Anyway, I am definitely an Olympics fan!

Oh definitely I will support the USA in every event I can watch but I won't drive myself nuts trying to get to a television to watch a special event. It saddens me this morning to hear there was a stabbing in downtown Beijing this morning. Two people were hospitalized. This is suppose to be a fun, competitive event.

I don't usually watch the opening or closing ceremonies, but I do tend to tune in. The USA men's gymnastics team just lost our two big hopes to medal, but I'll still watch them, as well as the women's gymnastics. And I'll be rooting on the diving and swimming Olympians. I don't know if I'll watch more of it than that.

I was just a bit interested in the games up until the moment I watched the lighting of the torch. The opening ceremony was quite the spectacle! I got home from work yesterday at 0500 and started to watch the Canadian and Chinese women play soccer. I really wanted to go to bed but the game was so exciting I couldn't turn it off! Too bad it was a draw I thought the Canadians were playing a better game, but a draw is great just the same. Now I am hooked again!
