I know I do! There is a new product available since early last year which guarantees that you can save a lot . It is very easy to use and install. I am just wondering who have tried it and if it really does work. Can someone let us know if it is really effective? For those who have not heard of it below is an excerpt from PC Magazine By Oliver Rist Those commercials advertising cheap voice-over-IP (VoIP) phone rates look appealing, but there's always some fine print: You have to switch cable-TV providers, install a VoIP-smart Internet router, or something. And you end up ticked once a month when the bill from MCI, Verizon, or some other telecom robber baron dips into your wallet. If this sounds like your bio, the YMax magicJack is for you: 2 minutes of setup, voice quality that's almost indistinguishable from a straight analog POTS line, and a cost of just under $20 a year for unlimited nationwide service. When I was testing it in December 2007, the service offered phone numbers in about 90 percent of the country. International calling wasn't available at test time, though it should be in the next few months. Pricing will be determined based upon phone rates at that time, though YMax says its mandate is to make international calling cheaper than any rate you can get with either Skype or Vonage. I hope this is true so we can save on those huge phone bills.

Well i just have one question about this...because I have watched the infomercial almost every morning....do you still need to have a landline service in order to use the magick jack....or do you just plu it up into yoru USB and then plug your phone in? If it is the latter then I say hell yeah. Currently I have 2 landlines one for the house and computer and one for my mother's heart monitor...Plus 3 cell phones on a family plan...so if it is true it would cut my costs considerably.... If you can send me their web address by PM. I definitely want to check this out. And I have found sometimes those informercials are worthwhile. Have a great day.

Muelitz, how is the service? We've been thinking about it. I believe you have to get a new number with magic jack, isn't that right? It seems like the phone bills would be lower which is good. I'm sure there are some downsides, but I think it sounds god. Would you recommend it? Pablo

Hi Muelitz, I have not heard that and that's amazing! I am buying cards twice a month, $5 for 29 minutes and if that will be true, I know I can often call with no worries!
