Do you believe that there are only two types of people in this world?

These two types are the fools and the other one are the wise. The wise take advantage of the fools. I don't believe in this because I know that this is a narrow minded person's point of view. But I hear several people stating this, Do they truly believe in its validity? What about you? What are your thoughts on this?

I think it is too simple to think of people this way, because nobody is totally wise or totally foolish. A wise person can still be taken advantage of, because anyone can have a weak moment and be deceived by someone else. A person can have other defences, without being wise. They may be protected from exploitation simpy because they fear, distrust or oppose other people's views. A wise person may use their knowledge only for good purposes, and fools can trick other people too.

This is a broad minded approach and it's very true. A very knowledgeable way to look at people. Thanks for that vital input. All the best.

classifying people as fools and wise, i dont think it works. first of all, how about those that get fooled but in other aspects are wise? how will classify that? only foolish, ignorant, totally biased people classify people as such. too bad, where do they consider themselves?

hi there, if the wises take advantage of the fools, it means they are not wise. i think there are two types of people in the world. the conscious people, and the unconscious people. that's not a fix type, but rather a dynamic type. people can change. the unconscious can be the conscious and vice versa.

I agree in the entireity of your comment. People are dynamic and can never be classified into 2 categories only. I don't fuly understand what you mean by unconscious and conscious type however. Could you expound more on this? I would appreciate it a lot.

Only two kinds of people would make for a narrow world. Saying that all wise people take advantage of all fools is well just is not true. Additionally, many people are wise in some areas and total fools in others. So one could be wise and a fool about certain things, so that would mean that some people are not one or the other but both! I think that being wise many times come with age. The more experiences you encounter, good or bad, makes you wiser.
