Morbidly weird and odd - but seems to be true... or at least happen regularly...

I was told this years ago, and at first didn't believe it and then it kept happening. Someone told me that when a famous person dies - they die in "Threes". Meaning, 3 will die within short time of each other, like in the same couple weeks or same month.
Well, I didn't bother with it until I kept noticing that so many of the famous people from the years I grew up - the 50's, 60's and 70's were passin on. It struck me as so odd and of course what this person told me came to mind. Morbid curiousity hit me and I started keeping track and for the next 2 years, (yes, I did it for 2 years!) it was verified to be true - every month 3 famous people died that same month, one right after the other. Granted, rather odd, weird and morbid, but at the same time, sure fits the mold!
Take notice and see what you think....Start with the last 2 weeks - Those famous people have passed on....
Estelle Getty - Golden Girls (last week)
Bernie Mac - Bernie Mac Show (yesterday)
Isacc Hayes - 1970's singer -"Theme from Shaft" among others! (today)
Next time you hear of a famous person dying - keep an ear out and see what happens. Weird, weird, weird!!!

Yes, it is interesting in a morbid way :) I knew only of bernie mac I guess I don't pay much attention to the news. But now that you mention it I do seem to remember more famous people that passed away within the same month.
But if we think about it statistically it is not that weird, because there are so many people there are famous - tv, radio, music, etc - it is almost natural that there is always one or other dying at some point.
Still something I have never noticed.

I am sure there a alot more famous people dying - really great attributes to Hollywod's sucess. I don't follow much of it anymore but just what I hear on the news or Yahoo News page that I review every day. it is just something that I found oddly strangly "tru", that 3 will die within the same month, right after each other, and then you (I) don't hear of any until the next month.
