how much you about your car

can you fix a problem if your cars stops in the middle of the road...if the tyre is bursted can you fix it?...how will you know what the problem is is the car stops suddenly?...i drive..but donno too much about the car except to check the water and oil from time to time...i can try to fix the bursted tyre...but not sure it the nuts will be tight properly so i won't risk it. what about you?

having a car doesn't mean that you must know just how to drive it, one must know the specifications of your car as well and simple maintainance skills to get your car in tip top condition besides your car is your buddy on the road.
i for instance if i get car problem, i don't have to worry cause i know some engine troubleshooting and repair. with the proper equipment and tools it's a piece of cake hahaha...just not a blown-up engine!happy driving and drifting!

No I have to admit that if it goes wrong I either call my son's dad, or my dad (which isn't so easy since he moved away) and they sort it out. Either that or i wait for someone that knows what they are doing to help out.
Really I should consider getting full breakdown cover as the one I have is roadside repair only, and take a course myself that I can learn basic motor mechanics.
Got me thinking this discussion. Thanks :)
