I do not own a credit card so when there was something I wanted to buy online, I would buy a gift card first. So I wouldn't have to keep buying cards, I thought about getting a prepaid gift card from upside.com which is re-loadable. Before I do this, I wanted to know if I would be able to transfer money from my PayPal account to the card. Has anyone tried this? Did it work?

It is free, I'm not sure if you have to be verified or not. Also, you can get Paypal's plugin in to use their virtual credit cards online. In other words it's like having a Paypal debit card but it's online, they give you a number that you enter at the website where you're buying something, and the money comes from your Paypal account. This is free, it's secure, and the card number can only be used once, you generate a new one every time you buy something.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I think, your problem might have resolved by now. However, I also want to know about the outcome. Thanks.

I'm not sure about this as i have only ever use paypal with a credit card for payment didn't know that you could do something like that, but anyway I would check with pay pal them self and ask them if they do it or read the FAQ to see if the info is on there and if it isn't then I would contact their support and you will get a response pretty quick.

I never tried it. i dont know anything about it. I would think you could do that, but you might want to check with paypal on that. You dont want to end up with
no cash. paypal has a help section. I'm sure there would be somebody there to ask about this. I like paypal alot. I dont know about their customer service but they are convenenitent.
