Do you Think There are Aliens On Other Planets?

A lot of us enjoy watching science fiction movies and star wars movies. In fact a lot of this science fiction movies have included so many things that at the time of showing of the movie were just figments of the imagination and seemed impossible to ever become a reality like cars with all those gadgets, space travel and so much more which now have become realities. there are also a lot of movies on extraterrestrials or aliens from other planets which we might think are just fiction but which may just be precursors of what will come in the future or what is an actual reality such as the existence of aliens from other planets. Considering that there many things in movies which are now realities, do you think there is a possibility that out there in space or maybe even amongst us, there are aliens who may be friendly or not?

Well I don't believe Aliens do exist in reality. They are just products of the rich imaginations of movie or comics writers. Fact is that several explorations were made in the space to see if there is any trace of life in any planet but so far no sign of life was ever found. So how could I believe.

Come on Salonga don't you like to expand your imagination to consider the possibility that there is life somewhere else in this universe? And while attempts have been made to explore outer space, do you really believe that such explorations have been extensive enough to fully eliminate the possibility? We have gone to the moon, to Mars and where else? We have not yet fully explored these places and there are a lot of other laces out there that we have not even attempted to explore. So, loosen up and just try to think that there is a possibility. We don't believe that there are aliens since there is no actual proof of their existence but what we are open op is the possibility that they might exist.

Well, I keep my stand! I don't think believing there are aliens will help me get more productive. Besides it does not really matter should there be aliens or not for in the first place I don't believe that will be of any significance to my personal life. But you and those others who believe in alien then that is your prerogative and I don't take it against you. Have a nice day!

Hi acevivx, I think we can just discuss without surely saying anything about the existence of aliens. But scince has made a little progree in the field of cosmology and quantum physics and found that there are almost 70% dark matters (not black hole) exist in the universe. Also another interesting observation that they don't rule out the possibilities of existence of matter which is beyond the frequency level of the most sophisticated sensory device.
So, in other words, science is just few stop away, at least theoritically, from accepting the presence of something about which so far we have no knowledge.
Indian ancient philosophers, like science fiction movies, did talk about the existence of souls.
Mixing philosophy with quantum physics suggest a strong possibility of existence of some matters of different vibrations or of different forms which still we can't perceive.
Such unknown forms of matter may be present anywhere, even among us, in the universe.
Let our imagination become sophisticated enough to understand the presence of such unknown vibrations or forms, which now we call alien. Let our imagination find in what name do they call us? Are we too alien to them?
I often ask myself, are they alien or are we. I know it's silly. But a good time pass thought to me.

That is quite profound and seems to indicate you've given it a lot of thought and imagination. I guess you are right. We call them aliens but to them if they exist, we must also be the aliens. I wonder what they would think about us and if they would also be curious and interested to communicate with us. You are right about Indian culture and their ancient beliefs and culture which refer to some other beings who walk the earth, some benign and some who are not so benign. Its really food for thought.

So far there has been no undisputable proof that there is life on other planets but considering many unexplicable occurrences which seem to haveonly one logical explanation, maybe we should be open to the possibility that we are not alone in this universe.

maybe,if there is a planet that like earth have enough air and water and suitable temperature,but very far from my sight,and nowdays my earth's scientist can't reach and observe that place.and maybe that planet's science not too high,because if too high,they will come to my earth. and i will see aliens.

You maybe right. It's possible that there is indeed life in some other planets but contrary to what many of us believe they might not be very advanced or more advance than us that's why they have no means as yet to communicate with us. maybe they are trying to contact us but just like earth their technology is not yuet that advanced to enable them to do so just like us.

I would believe in life in another planet but if we have any among us, maybe look the USA president, don't you think? Kidding. For sure there is life in another planets it is arrogant to think just earth has life. We are just not that competent to find out, but for sure they know we exist!

earth is just one among millions of planets that exist in the universe, so probability of existence of life on other planets is very high, only if v have the technology faster than the speed of light or may be the ability to teleport from one place to another, it could have been proved that yes life exist in many forms...but that's a very distant future u r looking at..at present it is not possible by any theory to travel faster than light becoz v will have to change ourselves from matter to energy to travel that far and again after reaching there v have to use some type of convertor to change back to matter that is humans...i personally believe life exists on other planets and v have been purposely kept away by means of time and distance by none other than our Creator...

I don't know if it is positive to think hat it is the Creator who has kept any other life form away from us because if we think like this it is like we are saying that if they found their way to us there would be a negative result. I would rather think that maybe it is not just yet time for us o establish a link but that in the future there would be communication setup between and among all life in this universe. On the other hand maybe you're right that it is the Lord who has not allowed alink tom be establish and maybe it is because we have not yet reached the same le vel as aliens if any exist and He is just giving us time to reach the sme level sowe wouldn't be prejudiced.I a also inclined to believetht there is life there in some other parts of the universe.

Hi Balasri! Those pictures are quite gross but do you really believe aliens would choose to live in the dark dark depths of the ocean if they came from somewhere else? Why would they bother to visit us only to hide in such dark fathoms. It has been explained that our oceans do bear creatures which have never been seen or which are so different in appearance and even size but that this is due to the fact that they live way down in the dark depths of the sea where no light reaxhes hence they have developed characteristics and physical attributes that would help them cope with their environment. But this does not make them aliens since they did not come from elsewhere.

hey !! surely alien exists. they have wex in their body like we see in the movies. i met with them and i talk with them. some one punched me once. one of them kicked my back and i fell off they also funny too!!!

no i do not think there are such things because the atmosphere of such planets is not suitable for adapting life some planets like mars have only gaseous environment
and nothing to land on meaning there is no surface on these planets so there can be hardly aliens from our solar system but possibilites can be such that they may be coming from any other galaxy to find life forms

Hi there too. I'm doing fine. Didn't the latest travel to Mars indicate the possibility of life in Mars. It seems hard to believe that there is no life on any other planet in our galaxy.I think we have not yet explored even one thenth of our galaxy so there is stillma chance that there is life out there which we have not yet discovered.

As a matter of fact the curiousity of human beings regarding aliens or life on other planets is a long standing one as evodenced by movies made way way back and by stories of abduction by aliens. There are even some allegations that the US military has already made contact with aliens and have even captured some on which they are making studies. Maybe if there are any aliens, their appearance would be so far from what we see in movies. Maybe aliens are indeed responsible for Sonhenge and all those sights all over the world which do not have any explanation. It is really a very interesting topic.
