Hi everybody,I just had a talk with my friend who is about to deliver a baby next month. She wants a baby girl first. This will be her first delivery,so I was just wondering what about you people out here on myLot?What do you have to say about it?Do you have any preference as it should be a boy or girl when it comes to first born?I personally,I don't have any issue on that. What about you?

When each of our babies were born, we did not ask to know ahead of time what they would be. The doctors could have told us, but we wanted to keep it a surprise for us for when the babies were born. For us, it did not matter - boy or girl - but we now have one of each. What we wanted most for them was to be healthy!

Life may be different here in the States. I do not think that we have the same pressures in our culture that are present elsewhere in the world for a family to have a boy. Although, I am sure there are families in the US that want to have boys first, too. (We did have a boy first, but we would have been happy either way.)

I had no preference as to what came first. i had girl, boy, girl , boy. a big gap after the first baby so thought that would be it!!
i think some people hink it is nice to have a boy first then if you have a girl he can supposely look out for the girl.
My neighbour had three boys before she got a girl.
You just have to have what comes and as longs as it healthy then that is all what should matter. Some people are only meant to have boys or girls, not both.

Before I had kids I wanted a boy first so he could be the big brother to any daughters I had afterwards. This is probably because I had a little brother!
Anyway, I had a boy first, followed by three girls so he's had his hands full his whole life.
