How many ladies out here in mylot take one a day vitamin for women. My doctor asked me to take one if i feel like. She didn't compelled or prescribed anything. She just gave me an idea of taking a vitamin tablet. Do you think is it good to take vitamin tablet, if everything in your physical check up is normal.

I take in various vitamins buy not everyday. When I've been lacking sleep for days or am having my period, I take in Iron. When I had my internship at the hospital or when I start working at one, I take in some vitamins especially Vitamin C to help protect me from infections. Maybe twice or thrice a week, I take the vitamin for women. I also have a knee condition that needs calcium but I take in Calcium tables maybe once a week. Even though these tablets are really helpful, I wouldn't want to damage my kidneys and liver which are the two primary organs processing these things. Once they're damaged, they're deadly. So I try not to take vitamins everyday.

I take them from time to time when I'm feeling a bit low. I use to take it regularly when I was on the alli diet plan last year.

I used to take vitamins in the past. But I haven't taken them in years. I'm just not a pill person and I forget to take them, so I just don't bother with them anymore. I think, if you eat plenty vegetables and fruits, it is not necessary to take a vitamin. But it has to be the personal decision of the woman as to whether she takes the vitamin or not.
