Shopping at CityPlace in Palm Beach

CityPlace in Palm Beach is amazing! It's a shopping district that spans several blocks of downtown Palm Beach. All the buildings are new and have similar facades. There are over 40 stores and restaurants there. Some of the restaurants have open air seating and on weekend nights, there is live music.
It was fun to shop there. They've got lots of great stores: Saks, Tommy Bahama, Barnes & Noble Book Sellers, Fresh Produce, Anthropolgie, Renovation Hardware, many jewelry stores, the Gap.
We ate at a restaurant down there one night, and it was delicious.
Do you enjoy shopping when you go out of town? Have you been to CityPlace in Palm Beach? Or a place like it?

I love shopping out of town and have the opportunity to go to different stores. When I go to the cities they now have downtowns'....outside malls just like in the good old days and I really enjoy walking from store to store enjoying the outdoors inbetween. I have never been to Palm Beach.....but shopped at Seaside....Loved it!

Gosh, jillhill, Seaside sounds like a pretty interesting place. I'm going to have to look in to that. Is it in FL? Maybe I could do a daytrip there to check it out.
Yes, CityPlace is outdoor shopping spanning several blocks. It was really fun. Plus, they had music outdoors on Saturday night and it was really cool to be outside groovin' to the tunes.

Hey pearl. I've never been to Palm Beach, but it sounds like
my kind of shoppers paradise. I would never want to leave! I
would need 2 weeks just for shopping one end to the other!
You must have had a great time. I just love going on trips
and having an opportunity to go to places where they have
shops that I've never been to before. I'm sure you got to
see all kinds of great stuff that you couldn't get any other
place. I hope you enjoyed your trip and brought home a whole
bunch of great stuff!

Hi Opal26.
Well, I think I've talked about this before on myLot: I don't spend much money when I shop. But, I did buy a cute t-shirt and a pair of those bermudas (go to the knee) shorts. Then, I bought a short sweatshirt-material skirt, with a sleeveless top and a blouse to go over that. And I bought one of those sleeveless, longer, baggy-looking tops to wear to work. It's really cute.
So, for a window shopper, I thought I did pretty good! My husband was pleased that I purchased some stuff. He's already talking about going back!
Yes, when we take trips, that's when I have the most fun shopping. Hope you get to go to Palm Beach one day because it's a wonderful place to go.
