dragging

does it bother you when people dont pick their feet up properly when they walk?

It bugs the hell out me me to hear young people dragging their feet. It like they are too lazy to pick them up. When my kids were little they would drag their feet and i would get after them for by telling them they would wear them out. Now I don't mind it if they are like cher913 and have difficulty walking or have to use a cane, but there is no excuse for young people to drag their feet. It is just plain laziness.

you are so right,when i was a kid i was told to "pick up your danm feet",the noise just bugs me

no, because i am one of those people that shuffle when they walk. i walk with a quad cane and walk this way because i have no cartlidge in my knees. it causes me a great deal of pain when i walk so the less bending of the knees, the better!

you have an excuse thiugh,you cant help it,its when i hear people that dont need to do it that it bothers me,incidentally how does one manage to end up with no cartlidge in the knee? Doesnt that make standing unstable?

yes, i cannot stand for long periods of time and i find it hard to walk too. i was hit by a car while going cross the street, flew off the windshield and landed on my knees.

Yes, it bothers me a lot. I am so sorry for those who have knee problems but it really irritates me to hear the unpleasant sound that the dragging creates. Some people even with no knee/muscle or whatever problem they have, they really drag their feet because they are too lazy to pull after bending their knees a little higher. Take care =)
