anyone read the book???

I liked the movie that is why I read the book. I always have that habot of reading the book version if I like the film. But I agree with you that I like the movie better than the book. Maybe what I really like about the movie are the visuals, you know seeing the different clothes they wear, the bags, and all the glitz and glamor of NYC. In the book, it would take so much imagination to realize how fabulous they are.

I have watched the movie and I loved it! I haven't read the book. I'd like to read it for comparison.

That's why I always tell people to read the book. In the book, you can really see how big of a toll the job took it on Andy's life. They just skimmed the top of it in the movie. I guess they wanted to keep it light and funny for the movie, didn't want to get too serious. When I saw the movie, I kept thinking well, what happened to that part? Why didn't they put that in? I like both and realize that a movie isn't always going to follow the book.

The book is definitely much better!! It does end differently. I prefer reading the books as you read their thoughts and your able to use your imagination. It was interesting to see the book as a movie but it wasnt as good as the book I dont think!!! It would be interesting to see all her books as films but only if they ended the same!!
