When I was 12 years old I suffered from acute rheumatism.I could not walk, I used to have swollen legs and ankles. It was difficult for me even to go to school.I was given injections once in a week.I felt better.I had this since 12 years upto the time I reach 18.It was really painful.I can never forget.Do you have any such experiences?or are you scared of getting injection?

i am not scared of getting the injection . It is because our family doctor puts in such
a fine manner that you will not realize the pain. I feel like a small ant bite when i am
injected. If you have an injection once in a week , that is irritating. You have
managed this for six long years. I appreciate your patience. Such an experience is very
hurting. But now you are ok and fine. Take care.

Hello VsGanesh, sorry for late response.Actually I got too caught up with my work, so couldn't concentrate much on myLot but now I am back and I am so glad to be here.
I am doing fine now.No more injections but the fact that I had been into injections so long, so it still kind of hurts me.Maybe it is kind of reaction,I cannot stand for long hours nor I can walk more than 1 kilometre.By the way, good to know that your doctor is a nice one, perfect with needles
.However, mine was very painful experience.Have a lovely day!

WEll when I was a kid,I am really scared of needles but then when I started to get sick always where just like the hospital is my home,I was like immune to it because I experienced that my heart problem and spinal chord problem got complicated so they need to put some huge need in my back so that was really challenging..:-0 When I woke up,I just saw my both hands and my back got needles and I am all numb..:-0 God bless and have a nice day..:-0

yes i am still scared of injections! i hate looking at the needle digging deep into my skin!
urghh..makes me remember,we had the annual physical examination for all the employees in the office last month, and the nurse would need to get our blood sample so she has to insert a needle and get the blood samples from every employee... it really sacred me, because it took the nurse more than 20 minutes to get a blood sample of the employee before me. no blood was coming out of her veins, or the needle was not injected properly, i don't really know, so that nurse have to swam the needle into that employees arm to look for the veins.. ouched ouched!!
i could feel the pain just looking at them. when it was my turn, i just have my eyes closed so that i cant see what she was doing with my arm, good thing it didn't take that long when it was my turn..

you bet you are lucky!
You didn't have to go through a lot.I still remember when we are still kids, my little sister had a fever, so doctor told her to get some blood test done. The nurse there was new and not much experience, infact she was scared. It took her so much time to take out blood for sample. My poor little sister was too scared even to cry.

Yuck! The thought of getting an injection makes me quesy!
Actually, I have given blood many times as a blood donor, but each time that I give, it takes a little while for me to recover. There is something about blood and needles that simply does not sit well with me.

When I was young, I was so afraid of injections. I cry everytime my mother said that we will go to the doctor for injection. But when I grew up where I have to have several sessions of injections, I got used to it. I'm not scared anymore, it's just like an ants bite.
Good morning.

Well, when we are kids, we all are scared of needles, I mean injection. My sister's 2 year old kid will never even come near a doctor or nurse, he will simply cry and make a scene. He also hates hospitals and clinics.I guess, this happens, as we grow older maybe our fear gets disappeared too.Normal injections are less painful but some kind of injections are very very painful..
