How would you handle your people if majority of them are;1. Your friends
2. Leaving at your own town
3. Relatives
4. Not your friends but you are closed to each other
Please share your opinion. Would you think you can have a good relationships?
What is the best way to manage your work which will not affect your relationships?

I am a boss. My husband owns the company. We treat each other with respect, even when we disagree. As for our employees, all are treated the same. We have had family and friends work for us only a few times over the years. We made certain they knew before starting that our relationship outside of work would have no bearing on our employee/boss relationship. Hiring family caused hurt feelings only once. The best practice is not to hire family and friends.

I am a BOSS also and if my people married from my own department,
I transferred one of them into other department so that they are in the same working environment.
For me there would be bias if they are working on the same place or environment.
However, in your case seems your business is a family business so I guess there is no bias at all, but I think you still need to control the relationships to remain it in tack right?

There was once someone who said that do not hire people you cannot fire. So I may not become the boss of those people you mentioned in teh first place, because it would be so difficult to fire them if I have to.

Well as a Boss, personal relationship should be set aside. Every one in the office must be treated equally. No favor or special treatment on anyone else because that would be too unfair for the other staff. I believe if I were in their shoes I will not also like if there is unfair treatment in the office. Each employee must be rewarded in accordance with his performance and not on the basis of personal relationship. In that way, the atmosphere in the office will be a peaceful one and the relationship will always be harmonious... no jealousy, no rift, no hard feelings. Have a nice day!

I am a supervisor so i am a boss of sorts.i have 3 family members including my son who work under me and i traet them all as equals.i am easy going and dont hold to the company rules to harsh.but when i ask or tell them to get things done i get the respones e that is required from them as i am more understanding towards them than th other supervisors and it show is our production figures
